KAHIGAMA to Spread New Enthusiasm and Hope

The hilarious party was over. The enthusiastic attendants who came to the party have proven their emotional relations with each other, more than three hundred graduates of International Relations Department of Gadjah Mada University—the graduates of five decades. Even some senior lecturers who also attended the events on March 4th of 2016 have shared the same feelings. Among others, Ichlasul Amal, Agus Purwanto (Dean of Social and Political Sciences Faculty of Gadjah Mada University), Amien Rais, Yahya Muhaimin, Muchtar Mas’oed, Sulistiyati Gani and Ilin Halina.
The event was also attended by AM Fachir (Vice Foreign Minister) representing Retno Marsudi (Indonesia Foreign Minister) who focusing to prepare Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Extraordinary Summit held in Jakarta. Denny Sutoyo (from Holland), Elias Ginting (previous Ambassador to Finland) and Burhanuddin (Indonesia Ambassador in Khartoum, Sudan) also showed up.
Indeed, this big moment must be supported by many people. Djoko Bajang, Rinina, Putu Suasta, Adjiguno, Burhan Abe and many more have made every effort to succeed it. Then, from companies, there were representatives from Qatar Airways, Wine Hatten, Bali Niksoma Hotel in Legian Bali and Ron’s Laboratory. These companies together with Yuli Mumpuni (Indonesia Ambassador in Madrid) provided gifts to be shared for some fotunate attendands.
12376772_10207840729523430_7478332575052167330_nAlso, the event held teleconference from four points; with Endang (Los Angeles, US), Suprapto (Indonesia Ambassador to South Africa), Kenssy D Ekaninggsih (Indonesia Consulate General in Shanghai), and Timiur Aliandi (BBC Journalist in London).
Gatot S Dewabroto has been elected first President of KAHIGAMA (Keluarga Alumni Hubungan Internasional Universitas Gadjah Mada), beating four other candidates— Anang Noor, Abdul Wahid Maktub, Godrill, and Arwan. Yet, it is not the end. After all, it is the beginning. The KAHIGAMA is starting to fulfill its dream in participating to build a peaceful and prosperous world.
Once again, the event hosted by Kemal and Prita Gani was amazing. It spreads new hopes, both for the graduates themselves and also the aim the forum has been founded.
