G-118-merpatiITS–The carrier Pigeon or usually known as Merpati Pos in Bahasa  Indonesia originates from Bhayapati  (Sanskrit). It is a kind of large turtle dove (Turtur tigrias).

The Carrier Pigeon (Merpati Pos) was known as a means of communication during the 1st century BC until the 19th AD in ancient Greece and Egypt (as engraved in Denderah Temple, near Thebe).

In modern times this kind of bird has been used in sport as the hobby of doves racing. The bird also symbolizes peace.
